Hospitality and Diving Internships at Murex Dive Resorts

Dreaming of a life change? Want to work in the diving or hospitality industry? Imagine spending up to two months in a tropical paradise.

At Murex Resorts, our internship programs offer the chance to experience firsthand how a top-tier, all-inclusive dive resort operates. We tailor each internship to the individual, focusing on your strengths and how you can contribute to our team, while ensuring you gain a valuable learning experience.

 

What We Expect:

We’re looking for interns who bring the following:

• Fluency in a second language is a plus (French, German, Spanish, or Italian preferred).
• Flexibility is essential, as interns may be placed at either Murex Manado or Murex Bangka.
• While time at both resorts is possible, we cannot guarantee specific locations.
• A “can-do” attitude is a must. Interns should be ready to assist wherever needed, from the kitchen to the boats, tackling projects as they arise.
• Enthusiasm for working with an Indonesian team in a remote location.
• A passion for marine life, conservation, and sustainability.
• Excellent guest relation and customer service skills are essential.
• Skills in underwater photography are a bonus.

In return for the valuable experience we offer, we expect interns to contribute their skills in a meaningful way. This could include creating blog posts, delivering presentations, or providing training to our staff within their area of expertise. Additionally, interns are expected to:

• Provide 5 photographs per week summarizing their internship experience.
• Maintain a 400-word weekly journal reflecting on their internship.
• Act as a Murex Resorts ambassador through contributions to social media and other online platforms.
• Represent Murex Resorts positively at all times.

 

In Return We Will Provide:

• Up to two months accommodation on a full board basis – 3 meals a day.
• Daily diving and snorkelling when available.
• Assistance with VISA extension in Indonesia.
• A reference letter upon completion of your internship.
• Free tea / coffee / drinking water. You will only need to pay for additional soft drinks / alcoholic beverages consumed.
• One day off per week.
• Airport pick up and drop off.
